David Nikolejsin

Dave is currently a Strategic Advisor at McCarthy Tetrault. Previously he was a long-standing Deputy Minister in the BC Government which included being Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines and LNG and was additionally responsible for BC Hydro.  He was also previously the chief executive responsible for the Environmental Assessment Office in BC. Dave also served as the BC Government’s Chief Information Officer from 2005 to 2012.

 

Dave is also widely considered to be a global leader in policy development in all areas of Environmental, Social and Governance having worked extensively with Governments, industry and environmental organizations on ESG matters. Notably, Dave led the process with all levels of government and First Nations to obtain a Final Investment Decision on the LNG Canada project – the single largest private sector investment in Canada’s history.
