Doug Eaton

Doug Eaton obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta in 1971 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1980. He has been with Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Limited, a dominant Yukon-focused geological consulting firm, since 1971 and has been a principal of that firm since 1981. His exceptional knowledge of Yukon geology and exploration techniques has contributed to several important discoveries. In 2012 Mr. Eaton was a co-recipient of the H.H. Spud Huestis Award for Excellence in Prospecting and Mineral Exploration.  Since the early 2000s, he has leveraged his knowledge of Yukon to operate Strategic Metals as a successful project generator.
